Meet the Staff

SCOTT MIGNOLA (OFFICE MANAGER) works mostly behind the scenes. When he isn’t running reports, badgering insurance providers to pay on claims, or out on the deck tending to his succulents, he’s usually at home writing. Have a billing question? Interested in having your art hanging our office gallery? Wondering how often to water your Haworthiopsis fasciata? Email him at [email protected].

RENATA CORDERO (RECEPTIONIST) is a genuine warm and welcoming presence at the front desk, the first to answer the phone and greet arriving patients. Her bright spirit and resourcefulness haven’t faltered since she started working at the office in 1997.  She also speaks Spanish fluently.

JULIA ARAGON (ASSISTANT) has been bringing a positive attitude to the office since 1988, long before Dr. Boardman took over the practice.  “I like working with everyone,” she says.  “We really get along.”  She swears by Zumba and walking for keeping fit. Patients often comment on Julia’s outstanding chairside assistance and how intuitively she works with Dr. Boardman.

AUSRA SHTARKA (HYGIENIST) was educated at the University of California, San Francisco. Among her many loves are art, yoga, photography, and world travel. You might have seen her cruising the San Francisco streets on her electric-assist bike. Ausra speaks her native Lithuanian, plus some Russian and Polish.

NINA PAOLUCCI (HYGIENIST) grew up in sunny Southern California and was working at the family pizzeria by age eleven. She studied dental hygiene in Colorado, worked with war vets at Long Beach VA Hospital and as a health educator at Los Angeles County schools, and spent time working in Milan before coming to the Bay Area. Nina loves film, exploring U.S. cities, and speaks Italian and some Spanish. Fun Fact: “I once rode an elevator with George Harrison of the Beatles for eleven floors.”

ADA SETO (HYGIENIST) was born and raised in San Francisco, and attended UC Davis and the dental hygiene program at Cabrillo College in Aptos. She likes the Golden State Warriors, makeup artistry, and trying out new restaurants. She enjoys working with patients to educate and motivate them toward better health.
