Covid-19 procedures
Cleanliness and infection control have always been a top priority in dentistry. At our office, that includes following all infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies closely in order to stay up-to-date on any newly issued rulings and guidelines, and to ensure that our infection control procedures adhere to each agency’s recommendations.
Some of changes put in place to help combat transmission of the novel coronavirus include the following:
- No one is permitted to enter the facility if they have illness symptoms, including symptoms consistent with Covid-19. That includes all members of our staff.
- You’re encouraged to wear a mask upon entering if you have infection concerns. If you don’t have a mask and would like one, ask at the front desk; one will be provided for you.
- Hand sanitizer is available at the front desk.
- We do our best to reduce waiting times and the number of patients in the reception area at any given time. To that end, it is more important than ever that you arrive for your appointment on time to keep the schedule flowing smoothly.
We thank you for your compliance. Stay safe, and be well!
